I am absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with you all today! One of my photographs has just been featured in a beautiful piece by Scoop Empire titled, “Beyond Skyscrapers: A Journey Through Unique Nature Reserves Across the Region.” For those of us who view the world through a lens, there is a constant, fascinating pull between the bustling energy of modern cities and the profound quiet of the wild. This article captures that contrast perfectly, taking readers on a visual journey away from the region’s gleaming high-rises and into its most pristine, untouched sanctuaries, from the fiery orange cliffs of Jordan’s Dana Biosphere to the vast Al Marmoom Desert in Dubai.
I’m incredibly honored that my work was chosen to represent our very own Al Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve right here in Lebanon. The cedars have always held a special place in my heart, and there is something deeply grounding about standing among these ancient, towering trees on the slopes of the Baruk mountains.
It is a proud moment to see the Lebanese landscape celebrated on such a platform alongside incredible regional biodiversity, like the coral reefs of Egypt’s Ras Mohammed and the coastal turtle nesting grounds of Oman.
I’d love for you to explore the full piece and discover the hidden natural gems our region has to offer. You can read the article on Scoop Empire right here: Beyond Skyscrapers: A Journey Through Unique Nature Reserves.
