A piece of Lebanon’s history featured in Vietnam: My photo of ancient Tyre

Hello everyone! I have some incredibly exciting news to share with you all today. My photography has crossed borders once again, this time making its way to a major publication in Vietnam!

My work was recently featured in an article on https://www.google.com/search?q=24h.com.vn titled “Dấu tích thời hoàng kim của đế chế thương mại Phoenicia” (Traces of the Golden Age of the Phoenician Commercial Empire). The piece takes readers on a deep dive into the fascinating history of Tyre, exploring its legacy as a bustling, powerful hub of the ancient Mediterranean world.

If you scroll through the article, you’ll find my photo featured on Slide 9, accompanying a section that discusses the epic historical sieges of Tyre by ancient empires.

Capturing the essence of a place as ancient and storied as Tyre is always a profound experience. Trying to do justice to thousands of years of history in a single, atmospheric frame is a challenge I will never get tired of.

It is always a surreal and humbling moment to see the landscapes of Lebanon celebrated on an international scale, reminding us of the massive global footprint our ancestors left behind.

Have you ever visited the ruins of Tyre?
