Hello everyone! I have some really exciting news to share about a photo I took during a recent trip to Spain, which has just found its way into an international publication.
While exploring the beautiful, vibrant streets of Valencia, I stumbled upon a true architectural marvel tucked away in Plaza Lope de Vega: La Estrecha. Known as one of the narrowest homes in Europe, its incredibly slim facade is almost easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. As someone who spends a lot of time behind the lens during my trips, photographing such a bizarre and unique structural quirk in the daylight of a bustling Spanish plaza was an absolute treat. I was fascinated by how such a tiny space could hold so much history.
I am thrilled to announce that one of my photographs of La Estrecha has just been featured in Delfi, a major Lithuanian news portal! The article takes a look at some of the world’s most unbelievable, avant-garde, and eccentric residential buildings, spaces where it is hard to believe people actually live, yet they command massive price tags.
It is always a surreal and humbling experience to see my travel photography appreciated across the globe and published in a language I don’t even speak! You can check out the Lithuanian feature and see my photo included in the lineup here: Delfi: Although it’s hard to believe….
If you want the full backstory on my visit to this tiny architectural gem, along with more photos from my Spanish travels, I actually wrote a dedicated post about the experience right here on the blog. Be sure to check it out: Exploring Valencia’s Narrowest Home: La Estrecha.
Have you ever stumbled upon a bizarre piece of architecture during your travels?
